I love this time of year because there are so many wonderful books and activities to complete both at home and school. I saw a Pin a while back where a Mom wrapped up 24 Christmas books to open and read each night.
Over the next 4 posts, I will be sharing with you 24 Christmas/Winter books with free activity ideas and printables.
These activities would be great to add to the books to keep kids busy at night during the holiday season.
Plus, these are great for classroom teachers, preschools, homeschool parents, etc.
With so many wonderful free resources online, there is no reason to purchase printables or make your own.
Each link is to a free item or idea (there may be some paid items at the same site, but my intention is to link you to the free items). Let me know if you have any other great free activities to go with the books.
Here are your first 6 books and free activity ideas! The books for today’s post are: The Mitten, The Hat, Berenstain Bears – the Joy of Giving, Trouble with Trolls, Olive, the Other Reindeer, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas
There wasn’t a lot to go with this story. The number one suggestion I found was to have students make crafts to give to a nearby nursing home or other people in need.
