What Do the Different Card Designs Look Like?

One of the best things about these free printables is the variety of card designs. Here is each available free get well soon card.

A quirky card with a cartoon dachshund bouncing on a trampoline, paired with the message "Hope You Bounce Back Soon.

First, is this adorable “Hope you bounce back soon” card. It’s generic enough that it can go to anyone.

A cheerful card featuring a smiling pink sprinkle donut illustration with the message "Donut Worry, You'll Be Back On Your Feet Soon!" in a playful font.

Second, is this cheesy punny card, “Donut worry, you’ll be back on your feet soon!” I feel like this card best fits someone who has had a surgery or injury.

A cute get well soon card featuring a sad-looking cartoon cat with an orange and white pattern, wearing a bandage and head wrap, accompanied by the punny message "Hope You're Feline Better Soon!"

”Hope you’re feline better soon!” has another cheesy pun. Since the cat is bandaged in the image, it would fit best for someone who has had surgery or an injury.

A vibrant card featuring a colorful watercolor flower garden design with "Get Well Soon" in bold, modern script.

Next, is floral get well soon option number one.

An elegant card with pink and white watercolor floral arrangements framing the words "Get Well Soon" in a graceful script font.

Or, you can go with floral option number two, it’s a beautiful card.

A humorous get well soon card featuring an anthropomorphic butter block with a smile and a small bandage on its side, set against a bright teal background with playful typography.

This “Get Butter Soon” Card will hopefully at least get someone to crack a smile (or roll their eyes) at the horrible pun.

A simple and sweet card with a smiling heart-shaped balloon illustration and the words "Get Well Soon" curved above.

Then we have a very simple card design – a heart balloon that says “Get Well Soon.”

A minimalist get well card featuring a crossed bandage illustration with a pink heart in the center, accompanied by a playful pink font for the message.

If you need a super simple card, there is no better card than this one in the set. It’s just a bandaid design with a simple “Get well soon” at the top.

A whimsical get well soon card with a smiling blue whale illustration adorned with pink heart bubbles and a small bandage on its side.

Next we have an adorable whale that is here to tell you to “Get Whale Soon.”

A "Get Well Soon" card featuring an illustrated coffee cup with a smiling face, holding a speech bubble with a heart. The text reads "Wishing You a Latte Rest and Recovery!" blending humor and care.

What better way to tell someone to get well soon than with their favorite coffee? Sometimes a favorite Starbucks or local coffee shop drink is the best medicine for a healing person. Add this coordinated coffee-themed card for an easy pick me up.

A "Get Well Soon" card with a vibrant watercolor rainbow background and whimsical white script text. Heart and sparkle doodles surround the text for a cheerful design.

I love the look of the pretty rainbow background on this simple “Get Well Soon” design.

A "Get Well Soon" card featuring an illustrated bear hugging itself, surrounded by heart and leaf graphics. The text reads "Sending a Big Bear Hug," adding warmth and comfort.

If you were hoping for sympathy cards, this “Sending a big bear hug” card would work well. Or, you can use it for any other occasion – illness, break up, lost job, etc. Just add your best wishes inside and you’re on your way to brightening someone’s day.

A "Get Well Soon" card featuring a retro illustration of a red race car speeding past with a checkered flag in the background. The text reads "Wishing You a Speedy Recovery," emphasizing the racing theme.

Car lovers will enjoy this racecard “Wishing you a speedy recovery” card.

A close-up of the "Take It Easy" card featuring the sloth design, displayed upright against a white tiled background, emphasizing its soothing theme.

Or my personal favorite, use a sloth to tell your sick family members and friends to take it easy.

A "Get Well Soon" card with a cute illustration of a chocolate chip cookie lifting a barbell. The text reads "You're One Tough Cookie," complementing the uplifting and playful message.

Lastly, we have this cute “you’re one tough cookie” card where the cookie is lifting weights.

Add your Own Touch on the Inside

All of the card designs are blank on the inside so that you can add your own text. You can customize the message of each get well soon card to fit the recipient.

The Best Way to Print These Cards

You have two options to print these cards. The cheapest option is using your home printer. Or, you can take the file to a local print shop or library to print the files.

A colorful "Get Well Soon" card with a soft rainbow gradient background in shades of pink, yellow, and blue. The text is bold white and adds a cheerful touch.

What Type of Paper Should You Print the Cards On?

For the best results, print these cards on thick paper such as cardstock to give them a more professional feel. I love these blank cards that are scored for easy folding.

The cards are letter paper sized, so when folded, they fit perfectly in these envelopes that I get on Amazon. I purchase the envelopes in bulk so that I am always ready to print and give a card when needed.

Why Printable Cards Are a Great Option

In all honesty, the best reason to use printable cards is the cost savings they bring. Greeting cards have become so expensive over the years – why spend $7 on a card when you can give print a free card and tuck in a $5 gift card or about the same cost.

In addition, using printable greeting cards is a great opportunity to add your own personal touch. Since you can customize the inside, you can make sure to say exactly what you want to the recipient.
