Help Me Name Our Dog

Background Information

Our new puppy is a female American Hairless Terrier. She will have no hair of any kind (not even a puff on her head).

We have an almost 4-year-old AHT named Samantha. Our boys named her after the scene in Frozen when Olaf is looking for "Samantha."

She is the runt of the litter and will grow to be somewhere between 9-13 lbs. She will be a brown chocolate color with white paws and lighter brown legs.

*The new dog will look a LOT like our current dog (seen below).

Background for Each Name Choice

We are looking for something a little more retro/cutesy for her name. Also, we want it to pair well with the name Samantha - something that would make them sound like 2 old best friends or sisters.

Here are the reasons for each of our name choices - in no particular order.

• Tilly because our boys love the cartoon Big City Greens.
• Penny because it's cute/old sounding and a nod to Disney and matches some of her coloring.
• Harriet/Hattie because my husband thinks it would be funny to name a hairless dog Harriet.
• Annabelle because we live near Baltimore (Annabelle Lee famous for Poe) and our old dog's middle name was Anne
• Gertie because it's cute/old sounding and is a character from one of our boys favorites books when they were babies, Gossie & Gertie.
