Easter egg coloring pages are a fun, inexpensive Easter craft for kids. With 60 free printable Easter egg coloring pages, you can keep your kids (or yourself) busy all afternoon.
Since there are 60 different designs, you can find something that fits everyone. Designs range from simple designs meant for young children to more complicated designs, like mandalas, for older kids or even adults. Adult coloring pages continue to grow in popularity and there are many cute Easter coloring pages included that would work well for adults.
What do the designs look like? Here are all 60 of the Easter egg coloring template designs you can download for free at the end of this blog post.
The designs are large Easter egg coloring pages – they don’t include Easter baskets or other Easter decor. They are simply a large Easter egg with a design drawn on the egg.
My favorite designs are the ones with the cute bunny – especially the one wearing a floral crown. Or if you want a “cooler” looking bunny, you can print the bunny with sunglasses. Which one is your favorite design?
Are you interested in providing a more free-form art activity for your kids? No problem. Just one the blank Easter egg page and let your child’s imagination take over.
Spring is one of my favorite times of year for fun crafts for kids. You get to use lots of bright colors and can even do them outside if you have nicer weather (to keep your house a little more clean).
Kids of all ages enjoy coloring – even teenagers. Plus, coloring is a great way for little kids to practice their fine motor skills (that’s the former teacher in me talking). In addition, you could practice color recognition as well.

What size are the Easter egg coloring pages?
The pages are designed with one big Easter egg taking up one full page letter size sheet. But, you could print the pages in various sizes by printing 2 or 4 pages to a sheet to make smaller Easter egg coloring pages (maybe even make a little Easter coloring book).
What materials do you need for the free printable Easter egg templates?
If you are just coloring the pages like regular coloring sheets, you’ll need some paper, a printer, and black ink. You do not need any color ink because the files are all in black and white.
If you want the free Easter egg coloring pages to last longer, then print the pages on cardstock.
If you want to paint the blank Easter egg templates, I would suggest using cardstock as well. Using glitter glue, white glue, or a white crayon to trace along the black outline of the egg makes the eggs so easy to paint for little kids.
Just trace the black outline with glue or a white crayon and let it dry. Then, children can use paint to paint the inner designs of the Easter eggs.

Easter Greeting & Easter Thank You Cards
In addition to just simply coloring the fun coloring pages, you can also use them in other ways. One of my favorite ways to use them is to turn them into Easter cards. Simply print the design to take up only half a sheet of paper instead of a full sheet.
Then you can fold the paper in half and create printable Easter cards. The printable pages can take a fun activity and also turn it into a more meaningful, sentimental project by creating cards for loved ones.
There are even a couple of designs that work especially well for cards. They include a special thank you Easter design and a few Happy Easter designs.
Easter Prints
Furthermore, you could have your children color in one of the designs and use them as Easter decorations for years to come. The printable eggs can become family keepsakes. Print them on 8 x 10 sheets so they are the perfect size to frame.
Easter Vinyl Crafts
Want to use the designs to make cute tote bags, shirts, canvases, and other various Easter craft projects? Then check out the same designs but as Easter egg SVGs and craft cutting machine files. The free files are perfect for Silhouette and Cricut users.
You can make some fun additional Easter crafts with your older children or throw an adult Easter craft party. The use of the free files is endless.
