How to Print the Free Halloween Tags?

They are simple to print at home. You can print as many as you need, making them the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with style and fun. The steps to print them include:

  1. Download the tag of your choice (you can find them here).
  2. Print the gift tag on white cardstock using whichever printer settings work best for your printer. (I choose my settings to “print best quality” when printing my tags.)
  3. Cut out the gift tags along the solid outline using scissors or a paper trimmer.
  4. If hanging the tag, punch a hole in the top center of the tag.
  5. If needed, fill a treat bag with Halloween treats or just simply keep the product in it’s original packaging.
  6. Tie the tag to the treat using some ribbon or twine or attach it with some tape.

What Type of Paper Should You Print On?

For best results, print the Halloween tags on white card stock. The thicker paper will look more professional and will hold up better than standard printer paper.

Can You Have them Printed at a Print Shop?

Yes! I allow you to print them at a print shop as long as you are using them for personal use.

Can You Print the Tags at Different Sizes?

Yes, these tags can be printed in different sizes so they’ll work for anything from a big bag of candy corn in small bags to homemade cookies or larger gifts.

Want to print smaller tags? Decrease the percentage of the printing scale. You can print the single tag files or a whole page of the gift tags.

Want to print larger tags? Use the single tag to print the tag at a larger size. Just increase the percentage of the printing scale until you get the achieved size. I don’t suggest printing a full page of tags at a larger size because I designed the full page tags to get as many to a page as possible.

If you’re throwing some Halloween festivities, these make the perfect party favor. Just print the tags and add the to a special treat for an instant and super simple party favor.

Can The Gift Tags Be Used Commercially?

Thee may not, however, be printed in large quantities at a print shop to be used commercially without purchasing a license for a small extra cost. Classroom use, teacher gifts, gifts for friends, gifts for clients, etc. are all fine to use the tags with. Just please do not sell products using these tags without purchasing a commercial license. The digital file may not be shared with others for any reason.
