After a long hiatus while sitting around watching soap operas
learning how to be a new Mom, I am excited to share that Bed Rested Teacher is
back up and running! I have been amazed at the number of people that have
visited my site in the past year. Thank you to the many visitors and to those
that have e-mailed or commented. I am so glad that I have been able to provide
free resources for both teachers and parents.
As I explained in my last post, my wonderful husband has
given me the opportunity to stay home and raise our son, Carl. It has been
wonderful watching him grow and change. There is nothing better in the world
than spending the day with my adorable little man.
Now that I have a toddler running wild around, some
blog posts will be directed toward activities for younger children. Finding
activities that are free or cheap to do with my son has become even more
important to me. Don’t worry – I will still be posting items that are for teachers
and parents of older children as well. My upcoming posts will include a Spring bucket list, Spring Books with activities, worksheets, and crafts, and Easter Egg tickets. As always, whatever I post will be
free to all of my readers.
Spring Crafts Part 1
Since my most popular blog post
has been Winter Crafts for Kids (over 14k repins – amazing!), I thought it was
only fitting that my first post back is Spring Crafts for Kids. All of the
crafts are non-religious based so that they can be used in the classroom or
home. I hope that you have fun completing these with your kids and students. If
you have a great craft or activity for spring, let me know! I would love to see
the crafts you created with your little ones this spring. I have already
starting making note of which ones I am going to try with Carl (especially the
lady bug foot print – although I am sure my husband wishes I would do something
a little more manly for once like a superhero foot print. Little feet make the
cutest little crafts). So here are the first 25 spring crafts that people much
more creative than me came up with!
