If you are looking for a fun way to talk about New Year’s resolutions or goal setting with your family, students, friends, or even coworkers, this Free New Year’s Resolution Bingo set is the perfect activity.
It works for kids, teens, and adults who want to reflect on the past year, plan goals for next year, and add a little fun game excitement to the process. Or, use them during other times of the year when you’re feeling motivated to start working toward some new goals for yourself, job, or school.
Whether you are setting ambitious goals, choosing a new hobby, or thinking about stepping out of your comfort zone for the first time, this bingo game turns goal setting into something everyone can enjoy. This free printable bingo goal set is suitable for kids and adults so you can do it as a whole family or on your own.

What’s Included in the Free New Year’s Resolution Bingo Set
Each bingo card in this set includes four key categories commonly seen in New Year’s resolutions: yearly goals, personal goals, school goals, and career goals. These categories make it easy to think beyond the typical “new year, new me” routine and encourage a healthy mix of life, school, and future planning.
Choose one of the Bingo boards to use or choose more than one – it’s up to you and your personal goals. For teachers, you can use just the school board for your students to only focus on school goals. Rather them work on themselves as a whole? Choose the yearly goals sheet instead.

Two Styles Included
I’ve included two font styles for the bingo boards. One is a more kid-friendly print font that also allows the child a place to color in the word bingo.
The second option is a cursive font that may be preferred by children or adults. Choose whichever style fits you (or your students) best.
How Do You Play?
This isn’t like an ordinary bingo game. You are not competing with each other (well, I guess you could technically race to see who gets bingo first!). In reality, you are competing against yourself.
Players will then mark off goals they accomplish as the year goes on. When they get a bingo, they can get a reward!
Come up with a list of prizes that you will reward yourself for each bingo or if it’s your children doing it, come up with a list of rewards together for them. Then each time the person gets a bingo, they get to pick one of their prizes.

For children, the rewards don’t have to cost money – it could be more screen time/TV time, staying up 30 minutes later, getting to go to a favorite park or free activity, etc. Or, students can chose rewards that do cost money (trip to the movies, ice cream date, etc). It’s up to the parents.
Teachers – you could have small reward for children who get bingo on their boards or have them come up with some rewards at home. Working with a small budget? Think of prizes they could earn that don’t cost money such as lunch with the teacher, sitting next to a friend for the day, lunch with a friend, lunch bunch, sitting on a special chair in the room, getting a special job for the day, etc.

A Fun Game for Goal Setting
Using a New Year’s Resolution Bingo card is a fun way to get everyone talking about their wishes for the upcoming year without the pressure of writing a long list. This bingo game works well for kids creating their first New Year’s resolutions and adults who want a lighter approach to beginning the year. It can spark conversations about the best part of last year, what people learned, and what they hope to achieve next year.
Perfect for Digital and Printable Use
If you prefer a printable worksheet style, you can print the PDF or JPG version and use markers, crayons, or pens to fill in the squares.
If you prefer digital planning, the transparent PNGs work perfectly in apps like Goodnotes, Notability, digital vision boards, or digital bullet journals. This allows players to save their bingo board, revisit it throughout the year, and track the only thing that really matters: progress toward meaningful goals. I know some people fill it out and make it their phone background so that their goals are always front and center.
Because these are free templates, you can print as many as you need for a classroom, a family activity, or a New Year’s Eve party. Each person gets their own bingo card, making the activity personalized and meaningful.

A Simple, Encouraging New Year Activity
New Year’s Resolution Bingo is an easy way to talk about goals in a supportive and playful way. Instead of overwhelming kids with big goals, this game breaks them into smaller, achievable ideas. It also helps adults remember that resolutions do not need to be intimidating—they can be fun, flexible, and positive.
New Years Resolutions Ideas for Kids and Adults
Since the board is completely blank, users can choose their own custom goals – they can go with simple goals or a bigger goal. They can mix and match a variety of the difficulty level of the goals and resolutions. You could even continue goals from previous years that you haven’t completed yet – it’s all about what is important to you this year.
