The Best Gold Kitchen Island Lights

After searching hundreds of gold lights for our kitchen, I put together a list of the best gold kitchen island lights. Selecting lights was the hardest part of the entire home building process.

When designing the kitchen, I decided to take a chance on adding brass and gold finishes instead of black or satin nickel. Brass has made a comeback in home design lately but I was reluctant to take the plunge because for so long, brass was such a faux pas in design.

These lights aren’t your 80’s brass lights. These gold island lights are modern and sleek. They’ll bring warmth to any kitchen design.

Mixing and Matching Finishes

And don’t be afraid to mix brass or gold fixtures with other hardware. The days of matching all of the hardware and fixtures in a room are long gone. Have fun and do a little mixing and matching to add some interest.

Our Brass Kitchen Island Lights

Our gold kitchen island light is the first one in my list of 27 gold kitchen island lights. We chose to go with two oversized pendant lights for our 9 food island.

With a 9 food island, many people would have opted for three 3 lights. But, I didn’t want to disrupt the view of the range hood. By going with two oversized lights, we are able to bring attention to the hood instead. Choosing how many lights to go with is a personal decision based on your kitchen design but this article from Bella Decor gives some great basic information for choosing island lights.

I divided the list into two categories. The first is gold pendant lights. The second is gold island style lights (long lights).
