Every year I put out yearly calendars and my at-a-glance calendars are always a favorite. Being able to get a quick look of the whole year on a single page can make it easier to plan important events, appointments, and more. It lets you see the big picture for the upcoming year.

While you can’t write down your important dates or special events on the calendar, these still come in super handy. I love to put mine at the front of my monthly planner so that I can flip to it when I need to see a full year calendar. 

The best part about these calendars is that they are completely free! There’s no need to buy calendars when you can download them for no extra cost to you other than the paper and ink. Using free printables is a great way to save a little bit of money. And each year, I always put out tons of annual calendar options so that you can create your own planner, wall calendar, etc. to help you stay organized and work on your yearly goals.

What are Year at a Glance Calendars?

You get all 12 months of the year on an at a glance calendar – the idea is that you can see the entire year at a glance. Unlike standard 12 month calendars, these smaller calendars do not have space to write within the days of the month. Instead, you just have the actual date listed for each day of the month on a small one-page calendar.

What Do the Free Calendars Look Like?

There are 3 different styles. The first one has a minimalist design in all black and white.

Next, this second calendar is my favorite: it’s a simple calendar with a clean design. It has a black heading for each month.

​Lastly, the third calendar has a little bit of color and a more unique font.

Are the Calendars Monday or Sunday Start?

Both Sunday and Monday start versions. You can pick whichever version works best for you.

What Formats Are Available?

The free printable calendar templates come in the following formats:

• pdf format
• jpg format
• png format with transparent backgrounds (great for digital planners!)

Can I Use the Yearly Calendars in a Digital Planner?

Yes! These are great to add to any digital planner. I suggest using the transparent PNG files to paste into a planner or digital notebook.

What Paper Sizes Do the Free Printable Calendars Come In?

• letter size page
• Classic Happy Planner size (print on standard US letter size paper and trim) 

But, you can adjust your print settings and print the letter size printable calendars in different sizes. By changing their settings, you can make them fit into any size planner or bullet journal. Use our directions for how to resize printables for any planner.

Print an Extra Large Version of the Calendar

Looking for a super large, wall calendar? You can send off the PDF file to a printer to print the calendar on an engineer print. It’d be perfect to hang on a  bulletin board or wall.

What Page Orientation are the Free Printable Year-at-a-Glance Calendars?

Each single page comes in portrait orientation (vertical). 

What Type of Paper is Best to Print the Calendars on?

For best results, I suggest printing them on thicker paper like this paper. If you only have regular copy paper, that is fine, too. I just prefer something a little thicker for the inside of my planner.
